The world in
which we live is one that answers to our needs. But it is man's responsibility to make his need known and to push with all
his might, as if he wants nothing else, but to see that need granted. This is
the philosophy upon which determination is predicted. Determination is not
desperation. It is an earnest and uncompromising resolve to pursue a single
goal to the exclusion of every other, until that particular goal is achieved.
Ask yourself
this question: why do we have more failures in life success than successful
people? The answer largely lies in the difference peoples level of
determination.
We operate in a
world of time and space; in a world where time is never enough and where
opportunities are often scarce and fiercely competed for. In such a world where
stark realities constantly challenge our fantasies, only determination sustains
dreams to the end.
Every man is an
expression of infinite intelligence. As such, every day, endless streams of
creativity flow through our minds. But if people are not determined enough,
they cannot transform their intentions and dreams into resolutions, so they
will always wake up with a litany of unfinished projects staring them in the
face.
Dear friend, no
matter what reckless optimists may say to the contrary, always remember that it
is your sweet, your resolve and the singularity of purpose with which you
pursue you dreams that determines your altitude in life.
The world is full of
jesters, people who will question, laugh and mock your dreams to your face. But
if you learn to look within yourself and draw your strength from within, your
determination will always see you through.
Do you have an
uphill task that you would like to complete today? Yes today! Do you have an
arduous challenge that you must first overcome? Do you have a dream that seems
elusive? Have you failed on many previous attempts? Then lift up your head,
square up your shoulders, arise and push to the end. For in the race of life,
if you desire to see the finish line, you must be determined all the way!
