The mother of former South African president Thabo Mbeki has died.
The mother of former South African president
Thabo Mbeki has died.
Epainette Nomaka Mbeki also known as
MaMbeki was an ANC stalwart and wife of
Govan Mbeki- an anti-apartheid activist who
was jailed during the Rivonia trial.
The family say the 98 year old died in a
hospital in East London, in the Eastern Cape.
