political dispensation evolving in Guyuk local government

With the current political dispensation evolving in Guyuk local government, bringing into account avalanche of complaints of the people of the constituency of poor representation, one Hon. Chief Ayuba Bamaiyi (Ajiyan Lunguda) answered the call of the people of the area to contest for the member of the state house of assembly under the platform of social democratic party to bring good tidings to Guyuk.
Speaking with pioneer, Ajiyan Lunguda said that what motivated him to answer the clarion call of the people of his constituency to join the contest of the state house of assembly is the impoverish and mediocratic underrepresentation his constituency is suffering from, lamenting that throughout the present tenure Guyuk constituency has not enjoy a single dividends of democracy from its representative adding that all constituency allocations and allowances meant for the masses has been criminally looted and diverted to private coffers, given assurance that he came on board to offer accountable representation and prudent legislation, to make good laws that will have direct impact on the citizenry most especially the socio economic development of the constituency, youth empowerment and to create enabling and conducive atmosphere for investment and to create employment opportunities for the youth of his constituency.
Chief Bamaiyi said that he viewed what happens to him in PDP as a stepping stone to his political fortune believing that political party is just a mere platform but what matters is the credibility of a candidate and the confidence electorates have in ones candidature.
“Certainly people are aware of the injustice that transpires in the PDP; the electorates were denied access to their right candidates, rather imposition was the order of the day as such people like us who are political orphans in PDP; we who belief in progressive politics, who does not advocate godfatherism found ourselves dumped in the name of kangaroo primaries.
After the perpetration of that great impunity we decided to defect to SDP as our plan B to work in respect to the clarion call of the people of my constituency and I belief that with God on our side and people at our back we shall ride on our white horses and pursue vampires that have been sucking the blood of Lunguda land and finally restore sanity.
As far as I am concern what matters much is the credibility of the candidature involves not the political party; the political party is just a platform but rather the confidence the electorates have in a candidate is what matters much. Let me at this juncture tell people of Guyuk local government that there will be surprises by 2015 and that surprises will led to turn around in the misfortunes of the land.”
Hon. Bamaiyi call on the electorates of his constituency to continue in their spirit of zealot haven confidence that very soon the storm will be over and they shall open a new chapter towards the development of Guyuk land, promising that there administration will establish a free and a democratic society where the will of the people will be respected and the true definition of democracy as was define by Abraham Lincoln as government of the people by the people and for the people will be formulated and people will partake in the formation and running of government, given assurance to people of Guyuk that certainly if given mandate he will work as an errand boy not as a dictator, he will endeavor to deliver good dividends of democracy that will bring good tidings to the Lunguda land.
Ajiyan Lunguda expatiated that there are insinuations from certain quarters that members of a certain party are planning imposition adding that gone are those kangaroo eras where such mischievous activities are condone, elaborating that era of manipulations and ringing has cheated his constituency and people of Guyuk local government this time around people are ready to cast and defend their votes to the latter given assurance that they will work in the corridors of law in accordance with electoral act where it stipulates that winners be declared right from unit to state level.
He lamented over how Kiri Dam is been under-utilize promising that when voted to power he will liaise with the government to ensure that the dam is being use as a source of income to Guyuk and shelling, adding that he will make sure that youth are employ into dry season farming believing that if the dam by extension if properly use will take care of northeast and that will improve the standard of living of the local government.
“I am a small medium scale industrialist, right now in my organization I can’t precisely estimate the number of the people from Guyuk that are working under me, aside with that, I have trained a lot of people from my constituency and today are living a life of luxury.in the aspect of community project I will boldly tell the world that just minor among the majors is the provision of portable water for the people of my area, and is my earnest desire to do more when given mandate. As an experience business man and as an exposed individual I will even go extra mile to bring good tidings to my constituency.
Ajiyan Lunguda further call on the politicians of Guyuk local government to deviate from the politics of victimization, intimidation and all forms of attitudes that will not help their community, elaborating that gone are those days where one will just come on board and think that he has godfather and he will be impose on the people of Guyuk local government.
